"I would highly recommend Straight Talk Coaching Consultancy and its founder Elizabeth Harding-Massey. Elizabeth worked with me on a one to one basis, helping and guiding me through the options of a career change and also assisting with updating my CV. I found the process very easy, Elizabeth was professional. She made me feel at ease in her approach making sure that I was comfortable and understood everything as we went along. Elizabeth clearly explained her role and I felt reassured that I was in very capable hands. She gave me the time I needed to process what was being said and I was free to ask questions I was unsure about. I would certainly recommend her to any future clients thinking of having career or work related coaching"

Liz has worked with us for two years. In this time I have respected Liz’s great communication skills, her intelligence shown when dealing with very complex young people who are often at a crisis point in their lives. She has worked with possibly some of the most challenging young people in secondary education from across the UK. She has a good understanding of working within the GATSBY principles and spends time to investigate local opportunities and offers in local areas.

I booked some sessions with Elizabeth when I was having a difficult time at work and was not sure what direction I wanted to go in. Through 1-1 meetings and some great paper-based exercises sent to me by Elizabeth, I was able to work out what it was I wanted from a job and narrow down my options. With Elizabeth's support, I developed the confidence to know what I wanted, and to ask for it. I am now in a much better place in my work life and have a more developed understanding of what I enjoy and want to focus on. Thank you Elizabeth!

I would not hesitate to recommend Elizabeth to friends or colleagues thinking of having career coaching. Elizabeth helped guide me through the options of a career change, whilst assisting with updating my CV. I now feel I have a much clearer understanding of what I am looking for and what skills I have that could transfer to an alternative role.

Having reached a point of feeling stuck in my career, I sought out Elizabeth’s services and I can thoroughly say that is one of the best decisions I have ever made. Elizabeth has brought clarity to my thoughts and has helped me narrow down my focus, through the process of coaching, activities and tasks. These tasks have allowed me to develop more confidence, evaluate and assess my current career and future aspirations and I can say without doubt that I have benefited greatly from all that has been offered. I have appreciated her support in the coaching journey that I have undertaken, from her help in rewriting my CV, to providing interview techniques, all whilst giving me the space to talk openly and freely. I would highly recommend Elizabeth’s services to anyone who finds themselves stuck or needing clarity in regards career or work-related development and coaching.

I highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone facing career challenges. About a year and a half ago, Elizabeth helped me prepare for a successful promotion. Recently, I sought her coaching again to boost my confidence for leadership roles. Elizabeth's skilful approach of asking probing questions and challenging me to reflect sparked numerous ‘eureka’ moments in just a few sessions, giving me fresh perspectives. I will definitely reach out to Elizabeth again and am pleased to share that I've already recommended her to two friends who have started their coaching sessions with her.

I would recommend Elizabeth to other people seeking help and assistance with their careers and those wanting to improve their leadership skills. I spoke with her over a number of sessions focusing on interview techniques centred on leadership. This was to improve my performance after my previous unsuccessful interviews for senior roles. She supported and challenged me on a number of areas based on the job specification and requirements which I found very helpful. This provided me with the opportunity to reflect on my leadership skills and my approach to presenting. We covered the interview process to focus on question techniques and how to frame answers and master the interview overall. Anyone who is looking for help and support with how to develop and approach the interview process I would thoroughly recommend speaking with Elizabeth.

I recommend Elizabeth to anyone considering changes in their career, whether it’s seeking a new role or exploring solutions to achieve work-life balance. Elizabeth is a coach’s coach. She asks probing questions, seeks timeframes and manages the conversation skilfully across sessions, keeping her coachee accountable for their actions and reminding them of their focus. Elizabeth was experienced and flexible enough to follow my changes in both life circumstances and in priorities during our work together. Thank you, Elizabeth, for proving that coaching really is the accompaniment of personal and professional growth.

I used one of Elizabeth’s free introductory sessions to both gain information about the way she works generally, as well as explore options for a specific young person about whom I have concerns. I found her to be very warm, approachable, and empathic. She has excellent active listening skills and showed openly positive regard, whilst also conveying the impression of professionalism and competence. It was a pleasure to speak to someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about facilitating positive change for their clients. I left with a clear picture of how Elizabeth can help and a sense of the value that her support and guidance could bring the people with whom she works directly. I would recommend Elizabeth’s Discovery session to anyone thinking of exploring the nature of role and services, whether for themselves or for someone else.
